Paintings - Tura Kuryazov

Tura Kuryazov was born in 1937 in Khorezm (Uzbekistan). After graduating from the Art School named after PP Benkov, he studied at the Theater and Art Institute. Ostrovsky in the city of Tashkent. For some time he worked in the workshop of academician Zarin Indulis Avgustovich in the city of Riga. He passed a special internship to study the technology of the old masters, in particular Rubens, Velasquez, Rembrandt, whose works are in the State Hermitage Museum in the city of St. Petersburg. He participated in expeditions in Khorezm and Karakalpakia, together with the founder of the Nukus State Museum of Art Igor Vitalyevich Savitsky. He wrote a lot of studies on archaeological sites north of Uzbekistan. He knows the history of Khorezm very well, and each historical picture is written on the basis of factual materials. Especially interesting are 40 paintings dedicated to Avesto.
People's Artist of Uzbekistan Tura Kuryazov, who painted portraits and small landscapes at the beginning of his creative journey, later created many historical canvases. Since the 60s of the last century, his works have been exhibited in our country and abroad. In this regard, he received a rating among artists of the former USSR, now CIS, RATING - 4 A. In the ART galleries, his paintings are rated according to this rating.
Famous to the artist brought the work on the history of our region, such as: “Muso al-Khorezmi”, (the fund of the Museum of History of Uzbekistan), “Oghi” (the foundation of the House-Museum Oghahi), “Mushoir” (the author’s foundation), “Tumaris” ( Foundation of the Author), “Mother of Halfa” (Foundation of the Museum of Literature and Art of Uzbekistan). During the years of independence of our Motherland, the artist created such works as “Amir Temur on the throne”, “Uguzhan”, “Dzhalaluddin Manguberdy”, “Feruz”, “Ancient Urgench”, “Zarathushtra”, “Anahita”, “Ahura Mazda”, “ Allakulihan, Lazgi, Islamhoja, Sevin Bika, Shazharat ad-Dur, etc.
The works of Kuryazov’s Tours are kept in the funds of the State Museum of Art of Uzbekistan, the Museum of Literature and Art of Uzbekistan, the Nukus State Museum named after I.V. Savitsky, Ichan-Kala Museum-Reserve, In the Urgench Art Gallery, in the Art Gallery of the National Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Including in private galleries of the USA, Italy and other European countries.
In 1999 he was awarded the honorary title "People's Artist of Uzbekistan". In 2008, the Tour Kuryazov won the Gold Medal of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan for a series of historical paintings.
