In 1960 he graduated from the Department of Painting of the RHU, then in 1966 the department of easel painting of the TTHI. Teachers: V.Korovin, N.Pak, R.Ahmedov, M.Saidov. Was engaged in teaching activities. D. Imamov is the author of works of everyday genre, made in a strong realistic manner, inherent in the same age as the "severe style."
